My girlfriends and I just got back from a long weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was the perfect girls' weekend getaway where we relaxed and enjoyed the finer things in life. Scottsdale, Arizona is quickly becoming one of the more popular bachelorette destinations on the scene and with good reason. This desert town has tons of stylish eateries, bars, ritzy resorts, and pool parties to fill an entire weekend and then some, which is I suggest heading there for a long weekend –– it’s totally possible to sample the best the city has to offer in a 3 or 4-day trip.

If you have a few days off coming your way, definitely think of spending your long weekend in Scottsdale Arizona! Below I’ve highlighted where to eat, where to go out, and things to do in Scottsdale; then I will share how I put it all together in a long weekend Scottsdale itinerary.
Where to Stay in Scottsdale
If you want to know where to stay in Scottsdale, I highly recommend The Scott Resort & Spa! It is in Old Town Scottsdale, a lively and bustling neighborhood located at the heart of the city.
The property has been fully renovated with a Cuban/mid-century modern vibe with greenery everywhere!! One of the most beautiful and grand hotel lobbies I have seen! The Canal Club bar was gorgeous (the staff were incredibly nice - we love Benny). There were fire pits in various locations which was nice to be able to sit outside at night since we never get to do that in Seattle! The pool area is not large but has distinct areas to lounge, some quieter than others. The room had a Nespresso machine, which was perfect for coffee in bed before starting our day.

Where To Eat in Scottsdale
SumoMaya was hands down the best restaurant we ate at!! The king crab guacamole, toro sashimi, spicy peach margarita, and Miso sea bass are a must! The atmosphere of the restaurant is just so unique and different, it's a beautiful place for a date or with friends. They have such a romantic place under real trees which makes it so special. Can't wait to go back! I heard they have a bottomless brunch!!

4-Day Scottsdale Itinerary - How to spend a long weekend in Scottsdale for a Girls' Getaway
Day 1:
- Arrive at the hotel.
- Walk to Old Town grab a small bite and drinks
- Go shopping at Fashion Square
- Get ready for dinner on the earlier side to hit the bars before dinner to get a lay of the land
- Dinner at SumoMaya
- Have a chill night so you aren't hungover to hike the next day.
- We went back to our hotel and had a nightcap and chilled outside by the fire and met some new friends!
Day 2:
- Wake up early and grab a quick and healthy breakfast: Farm and Craft or Chop Shop (down the street from The Scott)
- Hike Camelback Mountain—this is a classic Scottsdale hike. You can start and end at the Echo Canyon Trailhead, but you can also start at Echo Canyon and finish at the Cholla trailhead and Lyft back to your starting point. Plan to spend around 3 hours on this hike.
- Lunch at Postino - known for their Bruschetta Boards. Get the spicy cauliflower that was fire!
- Head back to the hotel and hit the pool, relax, then get ready.
- Dinner at Toca Madera.
- Hit up the club nightlife in Old Town: The District, Dakota, El Hefe, and Riot House
Day 3:
- Breakfast The Canal Club
- Pool Time. Don't forget to hydrate!
- Get Ready
- Desert Botanical Gardens (45mins)
- Dinner at Toca Madera - Scottsdale
- Nightlife: Living Room at W Scottsdale, Dierks Bentleys Whiskey Row, Boondocks, Bevvy, or AZ 88.
Day 4:
If you have an extra day during your long weekend go on a hot air balloon ride!
- Brunch: Hash Kitchen: AZ Largest Bloody Mary Bar
- Sunset Hot Air Balloon Ride: 3:45pm -7:00pm
- Unique bar experience:
- Century Grand is an old fashion train-themed bar. They’re immersive, craft cocktails and heard it's so fun! It's in the area called “Arcadia”.
- Undertow - is a ship experience
