ABOUT CASALUNA at TARGET

I’ve actually been on a hunt for a linen bedding but just couldn’t justify the $400+ price tag most of the highly rated ones had. I was so excited to see Casaluna at Target - a collection of luxurious bed and bath collection at an affordable price! This new line includes lots of high-quality bedding made of natural textures that are durable, breathable, and provide a sense of calm. You’ll find different styles of bath towels made up of 100% organic cotton and soft to the touch.

The best part is that they are committed to making products better for us and the world. The beddings are STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning that everything from the dyes and fabrics to accessories like buttons and zippers are independently tested and certified against 350+ harmful chemicals.

BEDDING UPGRADE

I swapped out the old bedding for Casaluna 100% linen bedding set in sage green. The set includes 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, and 2 standard pillowcases. The fitted sheet has added elastic at the corners for durability. It stretches to fit mattresses from 9 to 18 inches deep, so it’s perfect for almost any mattress depth. As an added bonus, the sides of the sheet are labeled so you can easily tell the top and bottom from the sides when you’re making the bed.

For the duvet cover, I choose this linen duvet and sham set in white.

I went with these color combos because soft greens, crisp whites, and muted browns help keep the bedroom feeling serene and comfy-cozy.

REVIEW

Linen has a cozy but cooling feel and is the best material for year-round use. I’ve tried bamboo (which is softer and silkier), I’ve tried percale cotton, sateen cotton. Nothing compares to the breathability of linen in my experience. Linen is also more durable and softens with use and time!
