I just realized that it was almost a year ago that Leif and I moved into this house. Wow, time flies! It took me a long time to find the perfect dining room table and chandelier. I knew that I wanted a marble table but finding one large enough for our dining room was a task. Well..fast forward a year later, I have finally completed our dining room to my satisfaction. Now for the dining room decor reveal...

A chandelier is usually the focal point in a dining room decor, so it's important to get a dining room chandelier that not only works well with your décor but adds ambiance and provides general lighting for dining and entertaining.
I am excited to partner with Mitzi, a new line from Hudson Valley Lighting to select a chandelier that for our dining room. The brand is "inspired by the founder of Hudson Valley Lighting’s grandmother," and is lighter and breezier option that allows us to hang beautiful fixtures without overwhelming the space. I love that the designs are so clean and modern, which will go perfectly with my boho mid-century modern dining room.
The Coco Chandelier I ended up choosing for our dining room, comes in two colors: polished nickel finish with black accents or brass with white accents. It was easy to assemble and definitely gives our dining room that wow-factor! I went with the black accents since our dining room already had a lot of white and I didn't want it to wash out.
I was searching high and low for the perfect dining table and I instantly fell in love with Rove Concepts when I came across it (insert major *heart-eyes emoji). Not only are their pieces made in small batches with the highest quality but everything is also handcrafted in small batches! The mid-century modern / Scandinavia pieces are right up my alley to mix in with my boho vibes.
For our dining room, this oval tulip table was exactly what I had been looking for. It is made of marble and large enough for our huge dining room. Tulip tables are great because of its design and versatility: it looks equally effective in a range of sizes and configurations – from round side table to oval dining table. I have a smaller round version in my breakfast nook.
I was impressed with Rove Concepts amazing customer service. Because it is made with marble, the first table arrived broken (due to delivery) but Rove Concepts replaced it promptly.
I wanted something solid and sturdy for the head seat of the table so I opted for this 'Executive Armchair'. I got these in the smoky quartz cashmere fabric – it is so stylish and beautiful with full function! The seat is firm but comfortable and the back nicely supports your back.
Made of solid fiberglass, these tulip chairs are sturdy and pairs perfectly with the tulip dining table.
Originally, I had bought a rug that was way too big (9' x 12'). It made the dining table look so small even though it was huge. At that time, Target launched its Opalhouse collection (basically an affordable version of Anthropologie). I took a chance on this geometric tasseled rug and it actually brightened up our dining room! Leif even loved it!
