Best All-Inclusive Resort in Mexico Riviera Maya: Fairmont Mayakoba Review
Leif and I recently got a chance to stay at the Fairmont Mayakoba Riviera Maya, Mexico! From the moment we were greeted at the entrance with cold towels and drinks till the moment we left –– I could not fault this wonderful resort set in the most beautiful lush jungle with pristine beachfront of the Caribbean. It is one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Mexico Riviera Maya! Its level of luxury, upscale design and top-notch service is hard to match. This was our first stay at an all-inclusive and could not have been more impressed. Read on as I share some of our photos, outfit details, and review of Fairmont Mayakoba.

Best All-Inclusive Resort in Mexico Riviera Maya - Fairmont Mayakoba
The Property
First of all, location, location, location. Fairmont Mayakoba is situated within 240 acres of tropical forest by crystal clear tropical river and picture-perfect Caribbean beach with soft pearl white sand. It is about a 60-minute drive from Cancun Airport (where we flew in). Walking through the lobby, you could see the lavish green tropical forest with a windy river and beautifully designed villas. The entire resort is just huge! Luckily for us, Fairmont offers around-the-clock golf cart transportation services as well as complimentary bikes. They are located throughout the property and you do not need a reservation. Simply hop on and ride! Leif and I rode round down and back from the beach and it was really easy ride.
The Room
Leif and I had the pleasure of staying in a Signature Casita Room. The room was super spacious with his and her closet & sinks. I loved waking up to the lush jungle and water canal on our private terrace with a cup of coffee. The bathroom was huge with marble accents and a luxurious tub with a view of the bamboo! We really loved that we felt like we were staying in a luxurious jungle.
Inclusive Dining Package
If you are a foodie like us, Fairmont Mayakoba is definitely for you! You can purchase an Inclusive Luxury Dining & Beverage Package to experience their award-winning restaurants. You get UNLIMITED dining and premium beverage service at ten restaurants and bars, beach service during operating hours, plus the MiniBar in your room! I HIGHLY recommend this package -- seriously, a killer deal! This truly makes Fairmont one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Mexico!
We loved getting breakfast beachside at Brisas Restaurant, lunch on the beach at the new Ki’ Beach Bar and Korean BBQ, getting bottomless sushi at El Puerto with a view of the lagoon, and watching the turtles while sipping delicious drinks and dining at La Laguna. Needless to say, they all offer upscale design and service in extraordinary settings overlooking the lagoon or the beach.
Spa
We booked a deep-tissue massage at The Willow Stream Spa which is one of the best spas in the region. The staff, the facilities and the quality of the treatment were just top-notch. They provided everything standard from a bathrobe, slippers, hairbrushes, body lotion, to the contact lens solution, curling iron, gum, bath salt, and so on. We were completely spoiled and felt very good about it. The list of treatments, therapies, and rituals available is even more impressive.
Activities
Shout out to the Fairmont team for taking us sailing around Caribbean seas in an extra luxurious 55’ Van Dutch Yacht! There is no shortage of activities from golfing on the PGA-rated golf course, soaking in Vitamin D at the pool or beach, shopping, or boat tour along the lagoons.
