Things are slowing starting to go back to "normal" after quarantine life. But this summer is going to look a little different than the others. We won't be taking any far-flung vacations and probably won’t get to enjoy a cocktail on a packed restaurant patio anytime soon. But I am really looking forward to spending time with close friends and family and inviting them over to hang in our backyard!
I'm so excited to make my favorite refreshing and easy watermelon lemonade recipe that is perfect to share with my family! I love to make a big batch to put in this gorgeous Courtly Check Enamel Beverage Hostess dispenser - where both my nephews, nieces, and the adults can enjoy on a hot summer day!
We can all drink in style with the 3260 barware and glassware from MacKenzie-Childs. They are such great conversation starters too!

If you guys have been following me for a while then you know my love for MacKenzie-Childs grew when I got to visit their HQ in Aurora, NY. You can read about my first trip. It was truly awe-inspiring to be able to see all the behind-the-scenes of the craftsmanship. I was amazed to find out that 95% of MacKenzie-Childs pieces are handcrafted and hand-painted!
I can't believe I was so lucky to be able to go back a second time for a Mother-Daughter trip!
I’ve said before that having beautiful decor in your home is not us about the products but it’s about how it makes you feel... and MacKenzie-Childs makes me so happy! I've already incorporated so many pieces throughout my home.
When it comes to stocking my home bar or bar cart, having the right glassware is so important. I like to entertain large groups of friends and also love to enjoy a cocktail with Leif after a long day, and having these whimsical barware and glassware makes any drinks taste so much better!
QUICK SHOP:
You do not have to make your own lemonade if you don’t have time! A nice, low sugar store-bought lemonade is fine to mix with homemade watermelon juice.
You can also use a sugar substitute when making this. Something like Monkfruit or Stevia to help keep the sugar lower.
For an extra kick for adults, spike it with some vodka or tequila for the perfect summer cocktail!
If you are making a big batch for a dispenser like me, double or triple this recipe.
*Optional is to spike it with vodka!
Thank you LVPR & MacKenzie-Childs for sponsoring this post. All opinions are always my own.
