Ladies if you love shopping for your man or know a guy who finds shopping for clothes tedious and difficult: Amazon is officially extending its Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe service to include men's clothing. For $4.99 a month, a stylist will pick out about 12 clothing items for you to pick 2-7 to try on at home before buying. I signed up for the service for Leif... here is our Amazon Personal Shopper review!
Prime Wardrobe is a "try before you buy" system that ships up to 8 clothing items to your home so you can try on at the comfort of your home and you only pay for what you keep. With the addition of the Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe — you get suggested items and styles based on your personal fit, color, styling, and current trends.
You will first fill out a short survey to give your stylist a sense of your style and they will pick pieces from thousands of brands to fit your taste and budget for various occasions.
Then you will get an email and preview items before they ship! You choose up to 8 of your favorite items from your stylist's picks to try on at home for FREE.
Try on the items at the comfort of your home for 7 days with no upfront charge. Whatever you don't want to keep can be returned using the resealable package and the prepaid shipping label provided. Then you will only be charged for what you keep. It's so simple!
After signing up for the service and filling the short survey... we got an email within a few days with the stylist's picks selected from hundreds of top fashion brands that have signed onto the service including Adidas, Lacoste, Carhartt, Levi's, Original Penguin, and Scotch & Soda, to name just a few:
I love the fact that with Personal Shopper we can preview picks before they arrive!
It took about a week to receive Leif's box. Here are the items that were sent:
Here are the garments I ordered for Leif's Amazon Personal Shopper delivery:
Chuck Taylor All Star High Top Sneakers (size down 1/2)
For the first run, Leif only liked 3 pieces. But the second box, Leif and I were honestly so happy with EVERY piece we got. Leif is picky with his clothes so I was surprised to hear that he wanted to keep every piece. In fact, I am ordering a few more of the thermal top because he said it fit so well. So would we use the Amazon Personal Shopper service again? Absolutely.
Leif is notorious for sticking with what he knows and likes, such as purchasing the same two pairs of jeans on repeat for the better part of a decade! The service has made refreshing his wardrobe as painless as possible, especially because he was skeptical of visiting stores for anything beyond groceries and essentials. So far it has helped Leif build his wardrobe and find his personal style!
Be warned: this program has the potential to push your Amazon addiction to an even more alarming level.
Would you try Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe?
