When it comes to the intoxicated feeling you get from shopping a clearance rack, nothing hits better than Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The sale starts August 19 through the 30th (with Early Access for cardmembers starting as early as August 7th). One thing that is different is that for the first time, Nordstrom is offering a sneak peek at the sale, so that you can sort through all of the best discounts before they go live. Since it’s actually discounting new styles, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is always a good time to stock up on fall items.

The preview went live on July 24, and I’ve already spotted lots of deals on things I own and love, including my favorite bra from Natori, Spanx leggings, tried-and-true Adidas sneakers, even home and men finds.

5. Airmax 270 Premium - These color combo are these shoes are drool-worthy! Definitely going to buy these!
6. Feather Loafers - Great lightweight loafers for work or play! I bought the Camel pair after buying the snakeskin style. Although there is little padding & support, I LOVE how lightweight they are. I ordered half a size up and they were perfect. Comfortable and stylish!

When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020?

The sale is open to the public on Wednesday, August 19th, and ends on Sunday, August 30th. If you’re a cardholder, though, you get early access.

For cardholders, your shopper status determines when you can start shopping. There are four different statuses, depending on how much money you spend per year at the retailer, and the higher your status, the earlier you get to shop.

Insiders: Thursday, August 13th

Early access for all cardholders ends on Tuesday, August 18th, the day before the sale opens up to everyone. But after early access ends, cardholders can continue shopping as they please until the sale is officially over.

Nordstrom launched a sneak peek of all sale items on Friday, July 24th, meaning that you can start adding things to your Wish List now, and that we'll have more time to pick out of all the best deals to help you shop.

How to get Early Access to Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020?

While you could just wait until the sale opens to the public to shop, the most popular items tend to sell out long before the regular sale begins. Not to mention, the size and color inventory for many items will probably start to dwindle during early access, meaning there will be slim pickings for certain things when the public can finally shop. If you want to shop items before the public, you will have to have a Nordstrom card for Early Access dates. It’s super easy! Plus, you will a limited time bonus (more on that below) when you make any purchase with them on your new Nordstrom card the day you're approved! No need to wait for your card in the mail.

What are the best deals you can get during the Anniversary Sale?

Nordstrom has already announced that brands like Madewell, Vince, Topshop and more will be on sale. In the past, Anniversary Sale deals have been extended to Spanx leggings, Patagonia, AG Jeans, North Face and many more brands (see last years purchase here).
